Refrigerator Troubleshooting Page

Use this page if you are having trouble with your unit

1.   If your unit is freezing food, freezing over, defrosting by itself, running on and off all the time, or just not functioning right, you might want to try unplugging the unit.   Let it fully defrost before plugging it back in.

2.  Always turn the unit off when you unplug it. The thermostat dial is located inside the unit. Turn this to the off position.

3. Make sure when you plug the unit back in that you plug it directly in to the wall socket. Please do not use units plugged into an extension cord, power strip or surge protector. They will not function properly if they are used in this manner.

4. Turn the unit on and turn up to maximum. Adjust the temperature after the unit has been running for 30 minutes.

5.  Noisy Microfridges:  Most noise is caused by something vibrating against the back of the unit.  Pull fridge out from the wall and push in the plastic defrost tray until it clicks into place.  Be sure grate on back of unit is secured to all clamps, and the clamps are tightly fastened.   Make sure no part of the metal grate is touching the refrigerator.

6. If none of this works, please call 1-607-431-9525 and we will be glad to help you. We are open Monday-Friday 9am-4pm.

7. If you have an electrical problem with the unit, please unplug it and call 607-431-9525 as soon as possible.

8. If you change rooms you need to notify the company in writing as soon as possible with the new whereabouts of your unit. Please supply us with your new address as well as your phone number. If you left the unit with your roommate, you also need to notify us in writing as to who they are.  Use the change of information form or please call 607-431-9525 if you have any questions concerning this.

9. If your unit is lost or stolen, please file a police report.  Without a report, we cannot help you.  If a report is not filed, you may be held liable for the cost of the unit.
